OCTOBER 20 AT 6PM
We are thrilled to invite you to our 40th Anniversary Celebration on October 20 at 6PM at Refuge. This special service will be a time to look back and celebrate all that God has done in and through our church. We are honored to welcome Gary McIntosh, one of our pastoral overseers, who will join us in this celebration.
As we celebrate the 40th anniversary of our church, originally founded as Good News Fellowship Church in 1984, we invite you to join us in celebrating God’s faithfulness through the decades. From our humble beginnings in a hotel conference room, where a small but passionate group of believers gathered, to the community we are today, God’s faithfulness has been evident and He has guided us through the ups and downs.
Over the years, we have seen countless lives transformed through the love and power of Jesus Christ. In 1985, we were blessed to establish a childcare and Christian school, nurturing the next generation in faith and knowledge. In 1988, we built our auditorium, a space that has become a place of hope and a place of refuge for many. Our commitment to spreading the Good News has extended beyond our local community, as we have sent missions teams to share the love of Christ around the world.
In 2015, we relaunched with a new name, Refuge, symbolizing our mission to be a sanctuary for all who seek God’s presence. This name change marked a new chapter in our church, but our commitment to spreading the Gospel of Jesus remained steadfast.
